Why I do what I do?
I’ve always dreamed of starting my own business, but for years, I couldn’t find the right idea to leave my career in healthcare. That changed when I realized I could combine my passion for technology and creativity by starting a drone service business.
With nearly a decade of experience flying drones and producing videos, I knew this was the perfect way to merge my skills with my entrepreneurial goals. Transitioning from nursing wasn’t easy—helping people has always been important to me—but now I’m proud to assist clients in a new way. Whether it’s creating eye-catching commercials or enhancing construction projects with aerial imaging, I’m committed to delivering exceptional results.
Prior Work Experiance/Education
Hard work has been part of my life from the beginning, growing up on a farm where I learned the value of perseverance. My professional journey began with five years of volunteering at the Good Samaritan Dental Clinic (GSDC), followed by a position at Graham Photography, where I gained valuable insights into business operations under the mentorship of Tim Graham, the owner and founder. Tim has been a guiding influence, both as a mentor and as the pastor of my church, Cornerstone Baptist Church.
My education began with homeschooling, which prepared me to dual-enroll at Rochester Community and Technical College (RCTC) during high school. After graduating, I was accepted into the University of Minnesota Rochester, where I earned my bachelors in nursing science degree and met my wife. My healthcare career included roles at Mayo Clinic, first as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and later as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Cardiac Progressive Care Unit – Heart Failure and Valve Structure. Working in this field deepened my appreciation for helping others and problem-solving in high-pressure environments.
Throughout my career, the dream of starting my own business remained a constant. These experiences—both professional and personal—shaped the foundation of the drone service business I’m proud to run today.
Activities/Hobbies
I’ve always thrived on challenge and competition, beginning with an athletic career that took me to state and national levels in cross-country running, swimming with Med City Aquatics, and biking for North Star Youth Development. I even competed solo in triathlons, where I honed the perseverance and discipline that continue to drive me today.
Beyond athletics, earning the rank of Eagle Scout instilled leadership and a commitment to community service—qualities that influence both my personal pursuits and professional approach.
When I’m not working, I enjoy longboarding, rock climbing, and flying drones. These hobbies not only fuel my love for adventure but also connect directly to my work, where creativity and innovation are essential.
Now that you know a little about me, I’d love to learn about you. How can I help bring your vision to life?
